Pulse graphics are easily of the most frequent image requests I get from people these days, and I think it has to do with the fact that they are just so darn versatile. The glowing pulse graphic can represent many things: health, data, systems, performance, etc, and that makes my life as a stock image producer pretty darn easy. One image can be used for a wide variety of applications, and I’ve actually seen a lot of my data pulse images used in ways that I hadn’t thought of before – so go right ahead people…dazzle me with your creativity!

This set of free data pulse illustrations features a transparent pulse graphic standing upright in front of six different objects: an audio speaker, lifesaver, padlock, clock, calendar, and globe. They can be used to represent technology or medical metaphors, and I’ve rendered them over a white background so they are relatively easy to create a clipping mask if necessary. Note that I did not include a clipping mask with these renderings – you’ll have to do that on your own if you want it.
